TWILIGHT PORTRAIT

Marina, a social worker psychologist, happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. A dramatic event turns her nice but boring life upside down. Unable to overcome the pain and humiliation Marina seeks revenge. She returns to the neighbourhood where the accident took place trying to find the man who initiated the violent action against her. One late evening, she follows him to his residence. Ready now for her revenge, she suddenly changes her mind. From this point, the film takes an unexpected turn.

ISOSCELES
A diploma film (graduate project) that was shown at two film festivals only and awarded both times... one in Russia and one in the USA. Inspired by Thomas Vinterberg’s, “The Celebration”, the film was shot on a HI8 handheld camera. The title is a reference to the “isosceles triangle” and reflects the nature of the love triangle the characters create.
